Sans Title.

A collaborative project between Andy Cabral and Samuel López-Lago, 2018.

Sans Title is a graphic art collection composed of 12 pieces which are structured within a transformation process based in controlled randomisation of shapes and its interpretation.

The basis for this project is the geometric concept done by López-Lago, inspired by the methods developed by Equipo 57 that had as a fundamental principle the digital intervention of images translated into splatters of colours. Using the presented works for reference and inspiration, Cabral transforms these shapes into scenes and figures in a bold and unique style reminiscent of the work of urban artist Keith Haring.

Andy Cabral:  Artist from the United States. Through his art, he seeks to visualize the abstract concepts of emotion and thought. Influenced by the works and cultures of ancient African and Latin civilizations, Cabral's style brings a pop-art interpretation to his abstracted figures.

Samuel López-Lago: Designer and Complex Systems Analyst with a tendency of being a Flâneur. Interested in new forms of expressions related to visual arts. Involved in a wide range of projects, from strategic innovation plans to arts and crafts.
